Terms of Use

These terms cover the Android app Groundglass Manual Cam Pro RAW, package vn.fighttech.groundglass, published by FightTech VN. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, uninstall the app.

1. What the app is

Groundglass is a manual stills camera. It operates your device's camera and writes image files to your own storage. It is not a photo editor or a cloud service, and it has no server component of any kind.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial photography alike. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell or republish the app or any part of it, or remove its notices, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Price

The app is free to download and has no advertising. The viewfinder, full manual exposure, RAW DNG capture and the film looks are free. Groundglass Pro is optional and unlocks the bracket, night, long exposure, focus stacking, interval and light-trail modes. It is sold through Google Play as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the price shown in the app for your country.

Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions; cancelling keeps Pro open until the end of the period you paid for. A free trial turns into a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel before it ends. If you had the app installed before Pro existed, the Pro modes stay open for 30 days after that update.

4. Your photographs

Photographs you take with the app are yours. We claim no licence, ownership or interest in them, and we never receive them — the app has no internet permission. You are responsible for what you photograph and how you use it, including the consent of people in the frame and the law of the place you are shooting in.

5. Your files

The app writes into a folder in your device's public Pictures directory and registers the files with your media library. Managing, backing up and deleting those files is up to you; uninstalling the app does not delete photographs you have already taken. Keep your own backups — we cannot recover anything, because we never had it.

6. Location and metadata

Geotagging is off by default. If you turn it on, GPS coordinates are written into the EXIF metadata of your image files on the device. That metadata travels inside the file when you share it. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Device capability

Manual exposure, RAW DNG and long shutter speeds depend on your device's Camera2 implementation, which varies by manufacturer and firmware. The app shows the controls your camera reports it can honour and hides the rest. We do not warrant that any particular control, format or range is available on any particular device.

8. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a photograph will be captured or saved in any given situation. Do not rely on it as the sole record of an event you cannot repeat.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FightTech VN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost photographs, lost data or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects consumer rights you have under the law of your country that cannot be waived by agreement.

10. Changes and availability

We may update the app, change or remove features, or stop distributing it. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date before they apply to a new release.

11. Privacy

The Privacy Policy forms part of these terms. In short: the app collects nothing, sends nothing and has no account system.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your own country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
